Reply:Edward. According to Stephenie Meyer, (this is an eclipse spoiler), Jacob never imprinted on Bella, which means that Jacob is not Bella%26#039;s soul mate. And besides, Edward is amazing. He is an attractive, noble, bloodthirsty vampire who wants to basically eat the girl he is in love with. He accepts that Bella loves Jacob as well, though Jacob can%26#039;t handle Bella loves Edward more. My bet is with Edward. What not to love?

I love the character of Edward. I like his old-fashioned morals and values, I love his self-control and willingness to protect Bella. I even like the fact that he believes in the idea of souls and is unwilling to make Bella what he is. Though Edward does have a temper (he did throw Jacob around in the tent and he did smash up a TV when the Cullens voted whether to make Bella a vampire or not), he has learned to control it. I%26#039;ll admit I am still trying to figure out why Edward loves Bella. I know it%26#039;s not love at first sight.





However, it is all about Jacob Black for me. Jacob was able to take care of Bella when she was devastated by Edward leaving her. Jacob and Bella were able to develop a friendship despite Bella%26#039;s broken heart. I think Jacob truly loved Bella because he protected her and %26quot;told%26quot; her about his true identity, despite the Quileute treaty. A lot of people hate on Jacob because of how he deceives Bella into kissing him and also because of how he attempts to goad Edward into losing his temper. Jacob is doing what any young man would do in love: fight for what he wants and protect his friend from dying. Edward does the same thing; he just has more finesse than Jacob does. But Edward does have 80 something years on Jacob, and he has more practice at self-control and controlling his temper.





Jacob falls in love, finds out he is werewolf, and then finds out the girl he loves is in love with a vampire, his mortal enemy! I think he takes it a lot better than anybody else would. He doesn%26#039;t kill Edward, and though he is not exactly civil toward Edward, he somewhat tolerates him for Bella%26#039;s sake.


Jacob also allows Bella to be...well, Bella. He doesn%26#039;t push her to talk about her heartbreak over Edward. Although he does worry about her safety and her clumsiness, he still teaches her how to ride a motorcycle. He even keeps her warm during a freezing storm.











Although Jacob does have his faults and makes mistakes,I feel sorry for him. He deserves to have someone love him, and only him. He deserves better than to be somebody%26#039;s afterthought or substitution for the real thing.


Bring on the imprinting! Bring on real true love for Jacob!
